The Global Leaders in Humanitarian Service
From Memphis to Mountain City, the Lions of Tennessee are over 4,000 members strong. For over 100 years, we have been serving those in need.
District 12-I

District Governor Patrick Scott
Patrick Scott has been a Lion for sixteen years. His journey with Lions began in 2001 as
a charter member of the Greenbrier, Arkansas Club. During his three-year membership
there he served in any capacity he was needed, eventually serving as president. His work
transferred him across the country to California. His work schedule did not allow for Lions
activities, but a major life change, the passing of his wife, moved him to relocate to
Middle Tennessee in 2008. In 2009 he joined the Dickson Lions Club where he has
served as lion tamer, tail twister, and president. He has served several terms as Zone
Chair.
Patrick has served on the board of Middle Tennessee Sight Services. He is a Melvin
Jones Fellow, and is the recipient of two presidential medals, and district recognition for
his work toward the ideals of Lions International.
Patrick has been married to his wife Frances, who he met through Lions, for five years.
They live in White Bluff with their cat and two dogs. In his spare time Patrick enjoys
working with people, any service activity related to Lions, and travel.
