DG Richard C. (Rich) Wilson was elected to serve as District 12N
District Governor on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the District
12N Convention held at the Holiday Inn West in Knoxville, TN.
Rich is completing his second consecutive term (2020-2022) as
President of his home club, the Sevier County Lions Club where
he is a charter member since the Club’s start in April of 2017.
He has also served as Region Chairperson and Zone
Chairperson.


Rich has served as District 12N Hunger Chair of the five (5) main
Lion’s causes coordinating the Annual Food Packing event
under PDGs Paulette Bailey & Millie Burke. 2021 saw a record
50,000+ meals packed and distributed by all clubs to those in
need in District 12N. Operation Inasmuch and The Hangar of
Pathways Church played vital roles.


Rich got his start in Lionism in 1984 with the Midtown Saint
Louis Lions Club of MD 26. He served many roles including
President, Zone Chair and Bingo chair. As Bingo chair,
membership expanded. Annual contributions surged to over $
100,000. Rich became a Melvin Jones Fellow along with every
member of the Club.

Rich resides in Pigeon Forge, TN and is employed by Ober
Gatlinburg as Area Marketing Rep.
