District Governor Paulette Bailey

Paulette’s Lion’s service began in April 2004 when she and husband, Chuck, retired to TN and joined the Tellico Village Lions Club.  During 2012 they transferred to the Loudon Lions Club to help revitalize the aging club and after a move, they are currently members of the Maryville Lions Club.


Paulette is a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow and has served in a variety of Lions positions at the Club, District and Multiple District Level including serving as District Governor during 2016-2017 - the Lions Centennial celebration.  She has taught at several Lions Institutes as well as at District and Multiple District Training events.  She has a Doctorate degree from Lions University and has received several honors and recognition medals at the District and International level.


Paulette and Chuck have been married for 43 years.  They have two grown sons, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  Paulette has a heart to serve in whatever capacity she can.  She especially loves performing vision screenings at the schools and Day Cares of Blount County.
